ABOUT ME
After studying Biology at the University of Rostock and Imperial College London, I completed a PhD in the Experimental Ecology group of Prof. Paul Schmid-Hempel at ETH Zurich on the bumble bee microbiome. I expanded this line of research during a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Moran Lab at UT Austin and Yale University. Currently I am the Research Leader in Pollinator Biological Chemistry at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. My work is in close collaboration with Prof. Phil Stevenson (RBG Kew) and Prof. Mark Brown at Royal Holloway University of London.
